The science of physical chemistry is the fascinating combination of two basic natural sciences. With the help of physical chemistry the people at our institute develop new methods to analyse the behaviour of molecules in their environment or to analyse molecule structures. The research for super hydrophobic surfaces or the development of very thin, biologically active membranes are further fields of research. People with different backgrounds are working at the institute, which proofs the well known interdisciplinarity of our institute.
